From where Shropshire split, she followed till she found grit.
Do you ‘Knowle’ this quarry, where I once hid!
Continued she did, past kilns and hills.
Away from the permissive path, I’m afraid we must dash.
Follow the footpath pegs, then down some wooden steps,
You’ll see my edge again and find me in the depths,
Beneath four branched trees, coming out at 90 degrees.
