About us
Shropshire Letterboxing was created with the aim of getting ourselves and others into the great outdoors and exploring again.
Long since I remember as a child visiting family in Devon. Whilst there I would hear stories of letterboxing adventures and family days out on Dartmoor. As a child, I was excited when I first went out hunting for these elusive boxes.
Exploring the Tors for these boxes, I developed problem-solving, orienteering and map-reading skills, skills I have found useful later on in life.
Also, I developed a fondness for the great outdoors, my surroundings and what nature has to offer.
Shropshire Letterboxing is a great way to get outdoors and spend time exploring, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and varying screens.
