Over the past few weeks, we have been checking the letterbox locations for a bit of housekeeping, and I’m sad to say that a few have gone missing or are in a bit of a sorry state, as have been vandalised.
Fear not, though, we have a plan and something new will be coming soon, so keep an eye out on our page and social media, as you’ll be the first to hear!

We will be adding a new style of virtual-only letterboxes to the smaller stamp and virtual letterboxes already hidden, which we brought in last year. This will make them slightly harder to find, bringing more enjoyment and making sure they are not found by mistake. They will still allow you to download a collectable stamp and fill in the online logbook.
We have also put up more posters, so hopefully more people will be starting their letterboxing adventure.
The reason for the change to these letterboxes is that it will allow us to hide them in more challenging locations, which are harder to locate. This will keep the challenge of letterboxing to its origins, but also prevent accidental finds which can lead to and have led to letterboxes going missing and needing to be replaced.
Hopefully, you will like these new letterboxes. Remember, once found, please place them back in the same hiding place for others to find.
I would also like to thank the kind people who have informed us of letterboxes which have needed replacing or have donated pens. Thank you very much for your support.
Happy letterbox hunting.
